                                            HARLEY DAVIDSON FATBOY RAFFLE

Our Harley Davidson "Fatboy" raffle, coordinated by Karen Cooper (FMROC), turned out to be a very successful event for your
association.  After purchasing the Harley your association realized about $13,000.00.  The drawing was held at the Ft. Myers
Harley Davidson dealership on August 4th 2007.   Our winner was Robert Cooper of Ft. Lauderdale.  We had an enthusiastic
gathering as we continued to sell tickets to people browsing the dealership right up to the time of the drawing.  Thanks to all our
members who traveled so far to be at the drawing.

Thanks to everyone, members and non-members, who bought and sold tickets for this special event.  We cannot name
everyone and will probably forget some and we apologize for this.  But, we would be remiss if we didn't publicly acknowledge
those special individuals who were a big part of the success for this endeavor:  Karen Cooper, Frank Davis, David Coffman, Tim
Mell, Harry Balke, Chere Reynolds, Elaine Rodriguez, Fauzia Ashfaque, and Babu Thomas.

Herman, Chief Medical Examiner of Volusia County .  The booth was a success as Fauzia got to talk to a lot of people from different counties, and was
very surprised that a lot of people were not very familiar with our cause, or how important it is for us to still to pay our dues for membership so we can
continue our mission to get the retro bill approved and to keep Ron Book, our lobbyist, as a watch dog at the Florida Capital in Tallahassee

association and upcoming legislative efforts, we raffled three donated gift baskets, sold FAOFP logo shirts, homemade Rub/Seasoning, and the
Pinellas County S.O. “Cooks Sharing Ideas” cookbook.  We made over $ 800.00 for the association.

Ron Book, our lobbyist, gave a very enthusiastic presentation about our legislative efforts and the future of our association.  CD’s of Mr. Books talk
are available from your team leaders.  If one is not available, please contact us.  We encourage everyone to listen to his talk.

The winners of the gift baskets were; King Brown, Daneale Gomer, and Christina Martinez.  Congratulations to all.

We thank the FDIAI, their officers, and staff for their support and allowing us to be a part of their event.  Overall we had a very successful time at the
